Deadboy

While doodling in class one day in 2018, Obama Academy Senior Talib Smith created the character you see above (left). A name for it immediately sprang to his mind: “Deadboy”, from the x’s over the character’s eyes. From that simple concept, Talib has sought to merge his passion for art and clothing by creating his Deadboy brand. At Handmade Arcade, he’ll be selling posters, mugs, and bandannas with his unique style of art printed on them. He plans to expand into screenprinting shirts and pants soon.
